GENERAL RULES
Client must be between ages 18 – 65
Earn a minimum monthly income of R3500 No one should sign on behalf of the client
Do not email or fax documents to clients -customers must be seen face to face
Must have a green barcoded ID or Card
We accept:
- Permanent employees
- Contract employees (providing it covers the period of the credit agreement)
- Self Employed (must either have car or bond finance)
- Civil pensioners
- Domestic workers
Client must NOT have judgements/defaults or arrears – if paid up, proof must be produced
NO Internet bank statements
CHECK LIST
- Ensure you have checked & signed for all original documents
- Client to produce original ID
- ID copy must be clear
- Latest 3 months bank statement (not older than 7 days)
- Self Employed – 6 full months business bank statement & 3 months personal
- Latest payslip, if computer printed / hand written, it must, reflect date employed and salary amount
- Ensure client has signed pre – agreement
- We require letters from Toyota I Transnet as they do not confirm employment
- Due to the POPI Act— HR require consent from employees to disclose info.
PROCESS
- Quick checks turn around time 25 minutes
- Full application can take up to 2 working days – mainly due to confirmation of employment and verification with customer
- SMS’s will be sent to client & dealer during the process – IF you do not receive these please address with sales representative asap

- WHY DID THE APPLICATION FAIL AT THE AFFORDABILITY STAGE?
- Failure to capture information correctly

- Customer cannot afford the credit applied for
